WHAT A YEAR! 😍🤩

2022 has ben an amazing year for ECA. We look back at this year filled with happiness and thankfulness. ECA has grown immensely and more staff members and kids have joined the family.

A huge milestone was reached in 2022. Isaac was the first child atElCambioto go abroad as he was offered a full 4-year scholarship at Dunn School in California. He is so happy about his new school and life and we cannot wait for our next child to go abroad in 2023

In October Mbuga, Gavin and Elvis went to Denmark with the general manager, Joyce and the founder, Thomas. They had such a great experience in Odense Boldklub where they participated in tryouts as well as enjoying the cultural experiences and spending time with Danish friends.

This year we had extra focus on our girls programme. Our documentary about our first 5 girls was finished and released. It portrays how our girls live their life at ECA and the progressions and differences they are making to their lives and to the community around them. We are proud to give girls the same opportunities as boys here atElCambio.

The ECA song “Believe in yourself” and music video made in collaboration with Bebe Cool and Joanita Zachariasen, was released which shows what ECA is all about.

TRYOUTS FOR 40 KIDS ⚽️

 
In the month of January we are having 40 kids on here for trials. They will be fighting for a spot as a player and student at ECA. We are bringing in 4 new girls and 8 new boys. We can not wait to welcome them to the family. It makes us happy to be continuously fulfilling a part of our vision by providing opportunities for more kids in Uganda.
